The Atrocity

The day before yesterday 03/9/10 I was at Rat rock for one of the first nice days this season. The conditions were pretty good, rock looked normal, no holds broke during the winter, the rock hadnt changed.

I go to Cat rock for like 20 minutes and come back to Rat and some fuckin punk kid tagged it. Out of 30+ years that grafitti has been a phenomenon, no one tagged that fuckin rock! Now I bet all the rest of the kids walking around with cans are gonna bomb it too.

What a shame! Rat may not be much, but its a good gateway for new climbers coming out of the city. (i know i started bouldering there before spreading my wings) . Its totally climbable still however, its an eyesore. People who wanna climb bad enough will still go there to get their crush on fo sho...

SHIT!
